Below is a gallery of artwork/prints made by Amelia Pimlott all of which began as line drawings that I did of things and places that I see. I use the line drawing technique that I use my drawing workshops where you focus more on what you are looking at than at your drawing. I use pen so I can't rub out. The lines can be a bit wobbly but I feel there is a truth to them as I have always responded to what I have seen. And in the evenings I colour them in using Windsor and Newton pro markers - bascially fancy felt tips. I like their vibrance and the fact that you can blend them together and almost give the feeling of watercolour.
